ABOUT THE BOOK

A stuntman’s story. Built on bruises, earned in grit.
Living on the edge—falling, crashing, and getting back up again.

Love at First Fall is more than a stuntman’s memoir. It’s a raw journey of survival and redemption, and the kind of love that makes every risk worth it.

A story of fire and family, scars and second chances, and the breathtaking truth that sometimes the only way to rise … is to fall.

Because men cry
Because veterans break
Because dreamers burn out
Because families can rise from wreckage
“Real life is more cinematic than fiction—and someone has to show that the fall is where the story begins.”

Why This Book Matters

It’s a story for anyone who’s ever been knocked down and wondered if they could get back up. It’s about what we gain from the moments that nearly break us: scars that teach us, losses that shape us, and love that makes every risk worth it.

Readers will walk away reminded that falling isn’t failure—it’s where transformation begins.

I hope everyone who picks up this book feels inspired to share their own story. After losing so many people I loved—and only truly learning about their lives at their memorials—I realized how much of me my boys might never know if I didn’t write this down.

This book is my way of making sure they see all of me: the highs, the falls, the fight to get back up.

I decided to tell my story before someone else tells it wrong at my funeral. And I hope reading it gives you the courage to tell yours.
